Hand wash: Aluminium plates can become dull or discoloured in the dishwasher due to the aggressive tablets. Preferably wash them by hand.

Do not cut with sharp metal: Preferably use a pizza cutter or a less sharp knife to avoid scratching the soft aluminium, or be careful when cutting.
Did you know. In Turkish restaurants, künefe is often served directly on the plate with a scoop of kaymak or ice cream in the middle. The aluminium keeps the syrup warm at the bottom of the plate, keeping the cheese soft while eating.
